About Dreanne
Dreanne Whitecalf serves as an HR Generalist for Crane Worldwide Logistics, a company in the logistics industry based in Houston, Texas. With six years of experience in human resources, she began her current role on May 20th after working as a journalist in the retail firearms industry. In her position, Dreanne travels each month for approximately one week to support operations in regions including Florida, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, and North Carolina. She focuses on maintaining consistent company culture and standards across these locations while acting as a mitigator between the organization and employees. Dreanne earned her associate's degree from Houston City College, formerly known as Houston Community College, and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree through Western Governors University. She is a member of the Alumni Association at Houston City College and plans to join the SHRM Houston organization once settled in her role.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay organized because it can be a lot if you're not organized. Know who you are and present that very well to others, remaining true to who you are. Maintain your personality and a level of professionalism and balance those two. You have to have a really high level of emotional intelligence to deal with others as a mitigator between the organization and the employees.
