About Dr. Julie
Dr. Julie Staggs is an executive leadership coach who has maintained her own practice for the past nine years. After many years in large corporations and teaching at universities, she now dedicates three days a week to working with clients who are primarily dean level and above, serving as a thought partner on institutional decisions, personal career development, and leadership growth. Many of her clients have advanced from dean to provost to university president during their time with her. She earned her undergraduate degree from Converse College in South Carolina in 1986, followed by an MBA in 2007 and a doctorate in 2020 from the University of Georgia. A certified coach affiliated with the International Coaching Federation, she participates in organizations including the American Council on Education, CUPA HR, and the Association of Training and Development. She currently serves on the boards of Global Health Care for Women and Children and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
