Dr. Rachel McCaulsky

She is an experienced arts education leader, program director, and professional dancer with a strong background in curriculum development, artistic programming, teacher training, community programs, and student showcases. She currently works as Director of Arts In Education & Community Programs at AILEY, where she oversees school, camp, active aging, and community dance programs. Previously, she spent over 11 years with the NYC Department of Education in roles including Art Director, Assistant Principal, Arts Coordinator, and Special Education Teacher. Her career also includes professional dance and teaching experience with Thomas/Ortiz Dance, Ailey Teen Extension Program, and Lula Washington Dance Theatre.
