Her Story

About Dr. Raphaella

I am the daughter of a Latin American immigrant and a first-generation college student. I have been in higher education for 27 years, progressively landing in my second vice presidency at Maryville University in St. Louis, where I oversee all of the outside of the classroom experience for college students. I started in fraternity and sorority life, moved into residential life, became a dean of students handling Title IX and student conduct, and now oversee areas including mental health, student organizations, residential life, counseling, athletics, and more. I recently completed my doctorate and am searching for a college presidency.
