About Dr. Stephanie

I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist and educator with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, higher education, and K-12 school settings, currently serving as Adjunct Professor at Cerritos College, a part-time role I have held since July 2023, where I teach and mentor students in communication sciences and disorders. I also serve as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist at the Montebello Unified School District Personnel Commission, a full-time role I have held since August 2019, where I provide speech and language services to students in Los Angeles, California.

Prior to this role, I served as Adjunct Professor at Portland State University for over three years, where I taught and supported students in the communication sciences and disorders program, and as Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist at Lynwood Unified School District for over a year and a half, where I provided speech and language services to students. Earlier in my career, I served as Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist at Willamette Valley Medical Center for nearly one year, where I provided clinical services in a medical setting.

I hold a Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Portland State University.

Across my career in speech-language pathology and higher education, my work has been driven by a commitment to providing high-quality, culturally responsive clinical services to diverse populations, and to educating and mentoring the next generation of speech-language pathologists. Whether I am providing bilingual speech and language services in schools, teaching at the university level, or supporting clinical care in medical settings, I bring a compassionate, evidence-based, and student-centered approach that has made a lasting impact on the clients, students, and communities I serve. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue advancing speech-language pathology and education through my clinical and academic roles.
