About Dulany
Dulany Reeves Dent is a distinguished business leader, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for the care economy, serving as President and CEO of Good People Care Alliance and CEO of The Nanny Network®. With a career dedicated to addressing the evolving needs of families and employers, she is committed to expanding access to high-quality care across the full spectrum, including child care, elder care, and support for family caregivers. Through her leadership, Dent works to help organizations build more supportive workplaces that promote employee wellness, retention, productivity, and long-term workforce participation.
Dent acquired The Nanny Network® in 2006, when it was a small, family-owned business, and has since transformed it into a leading child care services platform serving corporate clients and families across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and New Orleans. By institutionalizing business processes, expanding the company's reach, and developing innovative care solutions, she has helped position the organization as a trusted resource for families and employers. Dent is particularly committed to creating meaningful career pathways for the company's predominantly female provider workforce and empowering women by addressing the critical shortage of reliable child care. Her work helps mothers return to the workforce more quickly and pursue their careers with fewer interruptions, while enabling employers to better support their employees.
A strategic visionary and advocate for workplace equity, Dent is dedicated to addressing the child care crisis, advancing women in leadership, and helping eliminate the gender wage gap. She is also the Founder and CEO of Sidekick, a household support company created to help families manage everyday responsibilities through services such as errands, laundry, meal preparation, pet care, and household projects. Dent serves on the Policy Strategy Committee of FamTech.org and has contributed to initiatives supporting families of children with developmental disabilities and other complex care needs. She earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Colgate University, where she was a Division I NCAA women's lacrosse co-captain and field hockey athlete. Through her leadership and advocacy, Dent continues to champion care as essential economic infrastructure and works to create a future in which families, employees, and businesses can thrive.
