Her Interview

Ten minutes with Earline

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

You can't pour from an empty cup. Your notes protect both you and your client. Meet people where they are, not where you think they should be. Everything is not an argument. Think before you talk.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Systems don't move as fast as clients need them to. Caseload balancing when multiple complex situations arise at once.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, advocacy, and following through. Honesty and consistency. Advocacy to ensure people get access to what they are entitled to. Following through on care plans.
