Her Interview

Ten minutes with Echo

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the experiences that tested me and the resilience that carried me through them — hardship, loss, survival, and the choice to keep rising. I have learned that when your why is clear, your purpose becomes stronger, and every effort carries deeper meaning. My why has always been my children. I have worked to build a blueprint rooted in faith, consistency, and example, believing that even in our imperfections, what we model can shape generations. I hold close to the scripture that says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” and I see that truth reflected in my life and in my children.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to understand my purpose, stay true to it, and keep moving forward even when the road was difficult. I’ve learned that success is not only about talent or opportunity — it is also about resilience, discipline, and the willingness to keep showing up. That advice has stayed with me throughout my journey and continues to guide the way I work, lead, and serve.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to know who you are, stay grounded in your values, and never allow fear or self-doubt to silence your voice. Build your skills, trust your gift, and understand that growth takes time. Be willing to learn, stay consistent, and move with integrity even when no one is watching. Your mindset, discipline, and resilience will carry you further than talent alone ever could.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the growing need for clarity, resilience, and strategic direction in a rapidly changing world. Many individuals and organizations are seeking guidance on how to adapt, grow, and remain grounded while navigating uncertainty, competition, and shifting expectations. At the same time, this creates an incredible opportunity to lead with purpose, empower others through transformation, and use strategy, innovation, and mentorship to build lasting impact.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide my work and personal life are faith, integrity, structure, and purpose. I am deeply faith-centered, and I believe that when faith is first, everything else falls into place. Strategy and organization are also very important to me, because they help me remain balanced, focused, and clear in my purpose. I have a deep passion for young people, women, and children, especially those who may not realize they have choices or the power to change their lives. My own childhood was filled with challenges, and by the grace of God, I was able to overcome and beat the odds. That experience gives me a responsibility to pour back into others, offer options, and help them see a better path forward.
