About Echo
Echo Burchett serves as a Technical Sales Overlay in Infrastructure Solutions at Dell Technologies. She has been with the company for two years, initially working as an inside seller before being promoted to her current technical role one year ago. In this position, she supports a team of 25 inside sellers by conducting deep technical conversations on servers, storage, networking, and solutions that keep businesses running. Echo recently accepted a promotion to work with large enterprise accounts in a different segment, which begins August 31st. Prior to joining Dell Technologies, she enlisted in the Army National Guard, where she worked in medical logistics handling ordering and inventory. She did not attend college, and she considers her military service foundational to her discipline and approach to work. Echo is a founding member of the Women in ISG group within her segment, aimed at supporting women in the male-dominated field. She has earned an Aspiring Sales Coach Program Certification, a Q2 Team Player Award voted by peers, and more than 10 INSPIRE Awards. Echo attributes her success to her faith, prayer, and a strong support system of colleagues and family.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I'm very thankful for all the things that I have in my life, and I give thanks to God for that. And also, the people that I've crossed paths with... my support system, so the people I started with, the people that I have at home.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Give yourself some grace no matter your age or where you're at in life, be kind to yourself, because you will get to where you want to be. And you're not going to get there by continuously beating yourself up about things that you can't control. So give yourself some grace, and control the controllables.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't wait, just do it. Don't wait for someone to be say I think you'd be good... go out and do it, because I don't think I would have gotten this far if I just waited.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is booming right now. So being in tech sales with AI booming, has is days.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Patience, integrity, empathy, understanding. I think I take those with me at work and at home being with a toddler.
