About Edythe
Edythe Mosley has dedicated her career to healthcare since entering the field at age 17. She completed her GED at Bethle State Technical College and earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Southern Junior College of Business in Birmingham between 1984 and 1987. Her extensive credentials include certification as a Medical Office Assistant, Certified Phlebotomist, Medical Transcriber, Certified EKG Technician, and certification in Injections. Edythe worked in internal medicine for over 30 years across multiple facilities including Lord Know Hospital, Brookwood Hospital, Frank Business Hospital for five years, and an Occupational Health Clinic, beginning as a certified phlebotomist after Alabama did not initially accept her associate degree. She received recognition as a certified medical system with post-secondary education and has been affiliated with the American Health Career Association since 2013. Retired by Dr. Hunt on January 1, 2007, she now pursues a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix to further her ability to serve patients and the elderly.
