Her Story

About Eileen

Eileen Einsfeld is the Senior Manager of Campaign Management at Comcast Advertising, based in Fishers, Indiana, where she has built her career since 2000. After stepping away from the industry for a time to focus on family, she returned in 2016 and has since risen through progressively senior roles, from Campaign Manager to her current position leading a team of three leaders who oversee campaign managers across the southeast region. Her responsibilities center on project management, supporting sales teams, and guiding major initiatives such as the company's Salesforce rollout and the implementation of its Audience Addressable product.

Eileen's roots in the industry trace back to production and campaign management work at what was formerly Comcast Spotlight, giving her a deep, hands-on understanding of how advertising campaigns come together from the ground up. That foundation has informed her approach to leadership today: a people-first philosophy built on communication, collaboration, adaptability, and accountability. She credits much of her professional growth not to a single mentor, but to years spent learning alongside sales professionals, campaign teams, and leaders while adapting to sweeping shifts in the media landscape.

A Purdue University alumna with a background in Communication and Media Studies, Eileen continues to invest in her own development, currently pursuing a graduate certificate in project management through Purdue Global with plans to earn her PMP certification. She views the advertising industry's constant evolution — driven by streaming, emerging technology, and AI — as both its greatest challenge and its most compelling opportunity, and she encourages young women entering the field to stay adaptable, focus on relationships, and never be afraid to admit what they don't yet know.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Eileen

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to putting people first and staying ready for constant change in this fast-paced advertising industry. I push myself to lead with people first, always striving to take care of my team.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

No single mentor or specific piece of advice stands out as the defining moment in my career. Instead, my growth has come from years of working alongside leaders, sales professionals, campaign management teams, and colleagues while navigating significant change across the media and advertising industry. That experience shaped my own leadership philosophy, which centers on giving others the same support and people-first approach that has helped my teams successfully navigate change.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Always put people first, and remember that you can only control what you can control. Be ready for change, because the advertising landscape moves extremely fast with streaming, technology, and AI reshaping things constantly. It's okay not to know everything — just know the right people.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Constant change, reorganizations, and smaller teams create real challenges around job security and keeping people positive and motivated. The fast pace of streaming, technology, and AI requires ongoing adaptability while still managing day-to-day workloads.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Putting people first, which begins with my family (John, Grace, JJ, Aaron , and favorite Izzy-my dog). I believe leadership requires truly understanding the people who are responsible for making processes work, actively listening, and learning everyday.
