Eileen Henderson is a dedicated healthcare administrator with more than 24 years of experience across clinical, operational, and revenue cycle functions. She currently serves as a Medical Practice Administrator and Office Manager at an OB-GYN practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where she oversees both clerical and clinical staff while managing day-to-day operations, human resources, payroll, and patient account processes. Known for her leadership and organizational expertise, she plays a vital role in ensuring efficient practice management while supporting quality care for women’s health.

Eileen’s career in healthcare was inspired by a deeply personal motivation—to better support and advocate for her family’s healthcare needs. What began as a front-office role in a pediatric practice evolved into a multifaceted career that included medical assisting in pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine, as well as leadership roles as a clinical lead and operations manager. Over time, she discovered a strong passion for administration, operations, and revenue cycle management, where she has spent the latter part of her career driving efficiency and improving processes. Her willingness to explore different areas of healthcare allowed her to find her niche while building a well-rounded and resilient professional foundation.

At the core of Eileen’s work is a servant-hearted approach rooted in compassion, emotional intelligence, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. She is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and encouraging both staff and patients, always striving to meet people where they are and support their growth. Despite the many changes in the healthcare industry over the years, she has remained committed to the field, guided by her faith and dedication to service. Looking ahead, Eileen continues to expand her impact, with an interest in life coaching as a way to further empower and support others both professionally and personally.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

The key factor to my success is my passion for people. I meet them where they are. You have to learn to definitely have emotional intelligence and that mental stamina not to take things to heart. That's what I really stand on and what I stand for. What I find most rewarding is just being available to anyone, being able to help them be a better person, increase their knowledge in areas, and encourage them to step out of their comfort zone as well, since I continue to do that. My great passion is just to be there for people. I'm most proud of remaining in healthcare with all the changes that have gone on throughout the years, and I continue to want to be in this healthcare atmosphere because of my servant heart, just being able to be the subject expert and help others.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to try different aspects of healthcare and see where you feel the passion, where it doesn't feel like a job but feels like your purpose. Find that place where even though it could be a good or bad day, you still have the desire to be there. It's really important to find that passion because we spend so much time at our jobs, and every day is not always the best day.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Healthcare has undergone significant changes over the years, and one of the biggest challenges is staying adaptable in such a dynamic environment. I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to evolve alongside the industry, particularly in areas like operations and revenue cycle. At the same time, these changes present opportunities to expand into new areas, such as life coaching, where I can support and mentor the next generation of professionals as they navigate their own paths.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me are servanthood, compassion, and being available to help others whenever I can. I also place a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and faith, which help me stay centered and intentional in everything I do. These values not only shape how I lead and interact with others, but also how I approach challenges, growth, and service in my daily life.
