About Elaine

I started out as a computer programmer at a small bank, was laid off, and returned to Mississippi where I joined Boeing. Over 37 years there plus prior experience totaling 39 years in IT, I moved 8 locations, advancing to management for 24 years and executive roles for 3 years. I became known for airplane system recovery work and received national STEM awards. After retiring in 2024, I wrote the book The Authorities: Perfection Recalibrated Leadership with Purpose and founded Recalibrated Leadership Institute, LLC to coach mid-career professionals
