She began her professional career in IT, which provided her with a strong foundation in technology that continues to shape her approach to strategic planning and execution. Currently, Eleanor serves as a strategic consultant with Ellington Strategy Company, where she has been for about a year, helping organizations optimize their operations through a deep focus on technology, people, and processes. Prior to this, she worked with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), a quasi-government organization overseeing auditors in public company accounting.
Throughout her career, Eleanor has developed a reputation for evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing transformative strategies that increase efficiency and effectiveness. I attribute my success to staying focused on my professional goals while never losing sight of where I came from. That perspective has kept me motivated throughout my career, helping me navigate challenges with clarity and purpose, and has guided me in making thoughtful decisions that align with both my values and long-term objectives.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think the industry has changed since I entered in IT. You know, just truly believe in yourself, and stay focused on what you have to do to achieve the individual goals that you set for yourself. And don't let the distraction of the noise around you impact you achieving your ultimate goals.
