About Elena
I am an educator, entrepreneur, and STEM curriculum designer with a deep commitment to preparing children for the future through innovative, character-driven learning experiences. I am the Founder and CEO of Kid Laboratories, an education company I established in January 2022, where we reimagine how we prepare children for the future through programs including Moneywi$e for financial literacy, Goal Getter for character development, and the AI Workshop for digital and ethical literacy. Our programs help students ages eleven to fourteen build the future-proof skills that matter most—adaptability, creativity, critical thinking, and character—through interactive lessons, digital camps, and family-based learning experiences.
I also serve as a STEM Curriculum Creator at St. Peter's Catholic School, a part-time role I have held since March 2023, where I design and teach dynamic, inquiry-based STEM and science programs that integrate faith, creativity, and real-world problem-solving. I developed and led hands-on STEM labs for grades three through eight, created cross-curricular projects connecting science, technology, and Catholic values, launched school-wide STEM Fair initiatives and after-school enrichment programs, integrated digital literacy and early coding tools, and fostered a classroom culture of collaboration, inquiry, and moral reasoning.
Prior to this, I taught English and STEM subjects to international students ages five to fifteen through one-on-one virtual instruction at DaDaABC for over six years, where I delivered engaging, individualized lessons across Asia, integrated STEM concepts and technology-based activities, used digital platforms and gamified learning, and built strong relationships with families and students. I also taught mathematics and science at Grace Christian School for nearly two years, where I blended innovation, inquiry, and inspiration through a faith-based lens, bringing both analytical rigor and creative teaching to the classroom.
Earlier in my career, I spent over two years at AMD, where I served as Business Development Executive for California, Arizona, and Nevada, and Channel Manager for the Western Region, managing key strategic accounts and developing partnerships with enterprise clients and resellers. I also spent over ten years at IBM, where I managed strategic partnerships, led go-to-market strategies, and trained sales teams on product innovations.
I hold a Master's degree in Math Education from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
Across my career in education, technology, and entrepreneurship, my work has been driven by a belief that the world doesn't just need smarter kids—it needs wiser ones. Whether I am designing STEM curricula, teaching students around the world, or building educational programs that prepare children for an age of AI and automation, I bring a passion for innovation, a commitment to character development, and a dedication to equipping the next generation with the skills, confidence, and conscience they need to thrive. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue building Kid Laboratories and making a lasting impact on education.
