About Elesia
Elesia Rhodes serves as Founder of Recovery On Purpose, a nonprofit she launched in 2023. She obtained her 501c3 and bylaws that year after pausing operations following personal loss. Rhodes holds an associates degree and GED. She is currently working in the nursing field and studying for the TEAS test to complete her registered nurse license, needing 39 credits. She belongs to the Next Step Scholarship, which supports her education. Rhodes volunteers at Connect Transition Houses, returning to help other women by bringing speakers and sharing information on scholarships and recovery resources. Her efforts in the nonprofit focus on providing guidance, resources, and community support for individuals in recovery, including feeding people and distributing clothes.
