Elissa Leonard

I am a protein engineering and discovery research scientist passionate about translating molecular insights into innovative therapeutics.

At ModeX Therapeutics, I focus on designing and optimizing proteins for therapeutic applications, leveraging expertise in library design, protein expression, and purification workflows. My academic experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins, where I developed and executed high-throughput screening and signaling assays to support biotherapeutic development.

With a PhD in Bioengineering and a strong foundation in biomolecular systems, I combine computational and experimental approaches to accelerate discovery and drive impactful scientific solutions.
