Eliza Lopez is a dedicated staffing manager with a passion for helping professionals grow and companies thrive. Eliza began her career on the administrative side of the industry right out of college and has successfully worked her way up, finding her greatest fulfillment in her pivot to full-time recruiting, where she can directly impact her community and the lives of the people she supports.
A graduate of Bay Path University with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, Eliza combines her technical knowledge with her natural inclusivity and positive demeanor, often brightening the room with her smile. Over the past eight months, she has served as a staffing manager at Pascoe Workforce Solutions, overseeing recruitment efforts and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and rewarding hiring process for clients and candidates alike. Her leadership is rooted in connection, encouragement, and a focus on meaningful outcomes.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Eliza is committed to giving back to her community. She supports programs like Adopt a Family and the Food Banks of Western Massachusetts, leveraging her time and resources to make a tangible difference. I attribute my success to my hard work and the unwavering support of my parents.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be persistent and consistent—Gino Bancalari, my Global Operations Director at IMI, has been an incredible mentor who opened doors for me and encouraged me to connect with people from all over the world.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is: you can do anything if you put your mind to it—don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, because you are amazing in your own unique way.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now are the ebb and flow of the market, and personally, my greatest obstacle has been self-confidence, as I’ve often second-guessed myself.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value in my work and personal life is integrity. I also cherish spending time outdoors, hiking and walking local trails with my 3-year-old mini schnauzer.
