Her Story
About Eliza
I graduated from the College of Staten Island and just loved women's health. As soon as I got out of college, I went right into a medical assistant program and worked with OBGYNs in my younger days. Then I moved to Florida with my husband to start our life here, and I continued my love for women's health, working also with OBGYN. I wanted to be a little bit more challenged, so I went into infertility. I worked for another doctor for 7 years, and now I'm with Dr. Denker for 19 years. I started as a medical assistant and worked my way up to running the practice, being the practice director. Women's health is the only job I've known. I presently work with women and men who are seeking treatment for infertility, and we help the LGBTQ network of people trying to have babies as well. I do a lot of compassionate counseling with my patients, reviewing treatment plans and looking into successfully creating the best treatment plan for their hope to have a baby. I'm also the financial consultant with them, and for people who are struggling to make ends meet for their treatment, we offer quite a few great loan options that specialize in infertility. I give my 100% to all my patients - they have my cell phone number if they need it. They always have a warm, inviting relationship with me. We always talk and we talk through our challenges together, and they always know that there's somebody there to help them through their challenges. We call it the fertility journey, and I'm part of their fertility journey. We have a great team that is all compassionate and empathic. We hug, we cry together, we jump up and down - it's a very rewarding position.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say, if they haven't found that one, then they should freeze their eggs to give them the opportunity for a professional woman to go for her career, and who's not thinking about having a child now, don't miss out on the opportunity of freezing their eggs. It's recommended by their 30s, mid-30s. The next thing is, everyone who wants to be a mom should be a mom. And we're here to help and guide them through their very emotional journey. And they have strengthened us to help them deal with it.
