Elizabeth Austin

Elizabeth Austin is a software engineering professional with 7 years of experience in the field. She earned her degree in information systems from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her interest in programming began as a teenager when she designed layouts on MySpace. Motivated by a desire to merge her interests in healthcare, nutrition, and integrative medicine with software, she secured an internship at her current company right out of college. After a rigorous period of learning the company's programming language, she contributed to projects and was hired as a junior software engineer.
