Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the strong foundation my parents gave me and their guidance throughout my life. Their support instilled in me a love for helping others, which has been central to both my personal and professional journey.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

When you step out of your comfort zone is when you will do the best work.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Do not be afraid to take on challenges, focus on building strong trusting relationships and seek out a great mentor. Learn all aspects of a business, not just the compliance end.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges is being able to shift HR business model into the AI realm without losing the human side of the function. The introduction of AI also created opportunities in this field that previously did not exist such as automated recruitment, communications and messaging that can alleviate HR professionals from some administrative burdens so we can focus on bigger picture items.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, honesty, and integrity. I strive to build trust, act ethically, and prioritize meaningful relationships while staying true to these principles in everything I do.
