Elizabeth Cobb, MBA, CPA, CIPM, is a seasoned privacy and risk management executive with more than a decade of management experience and over 20 years in corporate risk, privacy, and compliance leadership. She currently serves as a Senior Privacy Consultant at Tevora, where she implements and manages data privacy compliance programs and leads privacy incident response for U.S. operations of global insurers. Her work includes advising on regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, CPRA, and supporting clients with NIST CSF, ISO, and SOC compliance audits.

Elizabeth’s expertise spans the implementation of OneTrust modules for Vendor Risk Management, Data Process Mapping, Privacy Impact Assessments, and DSARs. She has successfully led large-scale privacy initiatives, including GDPR and CCPA compliance programs, vendor and process PIAs, and DTIA assessments. Her strong background in enterprise risk management and corporate governance allows her to strategically advise clients navigating today’s evolving digital and regulatory landscape.

Earlier in her career, Elizabeth spent nearly two decades at Unum, where she advanced to Assistant Vice President of Privacy Practices. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of U.S. privacy program compliance, managed privacy office staff, and partnered with global leadership on privacy risk mitigation strategies. She was instrumental in implementing enterprise-wide vendor risk management frameworks, privacy incident management tools, and international insurance risk programs.

Elizabeth holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). Beyond her professional achievements, she has contributed to her community as a longtime board member of the Chattanooga Girls Choir, serving in leadership roles including President, Financial Officer, and Tour Director.

I attribute my success to the support of my family and the values they instilled in me.
