Elizabeth Meigs
Elizabeth Meigs is a Certified Trauma-Informed Practitioner, COTA/L, Transformational Speaker and Coach, and the founder of Elizabeth Inspires, Host of the Untrapped: Healing Invisible Wounds to Living your Dreams Podcast and dedicated to helping veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors reclaim peace, purpose, and resilience.
At age 14, Elizabeth survived a severe car accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. Throughout her recovery, she faced post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. These personal challenges deepened her faith and shaped her science-based approach to healing, leading her to develop the Miracle Power Activation System™, which includes the Pathway to PEACE™ Method, Roadmap to Resilience™, and Miracle Power Activation™ Frameworks. Together, these frameworks guide clients from trauma, stress and chaos into clarity, confidence, purpose, and freedom.
Elizabeth began her career as an occupational therapy assistant, supporting patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other life-altering conditions, while also becoming a trusted support for coworkers—nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals—who were navigating chronic stress and post-traumatic stress in both their work and personal lives. Through this work, she gained hands-on experience in resilience-building and practical, holistic rehabilitation strategies. Over time, she intentionally expanded her focus into public speaking, coaching, and leadership development, integrating clinical expertise with faith-centered guidance.
Today, Elizabeth works closely with veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and trauma survivors, providing workshops, courses, and one-on-one coaching that equip clients with sustainable habits, healthy boundaries, and renewed purpose.

What do you attribute your success to?
My success is grounded in faith, hope, and love, forged through perseverance and a clear calling to serve others. What began as personal pain—a traumatic brain injury, anxiety, and past abuse—became a mission of healing and hope that continues to shape both my work and my life.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I have not received traditional career advice that shaped my path. The most influential guidance I have ever received came from the promise of a greater plan and the steady voice of hope placed on my heart, reminding me that I could not stop—that I had to keep going. That assurance carried me through uncertainty, adversity, and seasons of rebuilding, and it continues to guide both my life and the work I am called to do.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this field or any field is to never stop believing in your dreams and to view challenges as opportunities for growth and impact. Stay rooted in purpose, seek support, set healthy boundaries, and know that your story can inspire and heal others.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A major challenge in my field is addressing the rising mental health crisis, trauma, and burnout among healthcare professionals, veterans, first responders, and families. At the same time, this presents an opportunity to expand trauma-informed care and holistic wellness solutions, and through programs like the Pathway to PEACE™ Membership, I’m helping lead that transformation.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith, compassion, resilience, authenticity, and service guide both my work and personal life. I’m committed to empowering others with practical tools for healing, creating safe, supportive spaces, and helping individuals—especially trauma survivors, veterans, and first responders—rediscover peace, purpose, and their true identity.
