Elizabeth Morrison, CDFA®, is a seasoned financial advisor and certified divorce financial analyst based in Houston, Texas. A fourth-generation Houstonian and working mother, Elizabeth has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions. Growing up, she watched her father, Paul Love, build a wealth management practice focused on empowering clients through education, planning, and investments—a legacy she continues today at Love Financial Group. Elizabeth’s expertise spans personal financial planning, wealth management, retirement strategies, and guidance through life transitions such as divorce, career changes, or inheritance. Elizabeth began her career in banking and commercial lending, progressing through roles at Amegy Bank and Iberia Bank before fully transitioning to financial advising. She has extensive experience working with women and families, helping clients gain control over their finances and make informed, confident decisions. Elizabeth emphasizes the importance of listening carefully to her clients, offering personalized guidance, and supporting women in achieving financial independence and security. Beyond her professional work, Elizabeth is committed to giving back to her community. She volunteers with her local church and also organizations that support workforce reentry, providing interview training and coaching to help men and women return to the workforce successfully. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my father’s mentorship and encouragement, and to approaching my career with confidence, never letting gender be a barrier to pursuing my goals in financial services.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are family, faith, and giving back to my community, while also making time for hobbies like tennis and nurturing meaningful relationships with my two sons.
