Her Story
About Elizabeth
I originally came from Venezuela, and 13 years ago my husband was kidnapped. We came to the U.S. with our daughter and started from zero. Opportunities began opening up for me in the financial industry, initially in the investments area where I worked managing portfolios and trading desks. At some point in my life, I thought about how I have a lot of experience that I would like to put my services to the people, the families I work with, and that's what prompted me to provide my financial services, putting all my expertise at the service of the families that I work with. I'm passionate about the financial world, investments - I'm passionate about it, and I'm passionate about helping people. I basically work with families and help them with the architecture of their financial wealth, not only managing portfolios but also how to make it grow, pass it on to the next generation, and protect that wealth. So I work with my families around everything that is related to their wealth to make sure that they are taking the most informed decisions. We work together, leveraging the platform of the company I work with, but at the end of the day, it's helping the families to take the best decision for them, tailored to their goals, considering what is most important to the families I work with.

Ten minutes with Elizabeth
01What do you attribute your success to?
I'm super proud about many things that I have done in my life, especially because I come from another country and being a working mom in a foreign country with a language that is different from your native language. But I am proud of my achievements, the things that I have done in my career, and I have done all of this to be the best example for my kids, for my daughter, and for my son. My husband and I agreed that the best way to start a new life was for me to continue my studies here, so I continued studying and earned two master's degrees. I have always been super committed with the licenses and all the education that is needed to provide the best services to the families I work with.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Right now, my goal is to continue improving myself, not only professionally, but as a person, and finding the right balance in life to be present in my personal area with my family, and providing and keep providing the best advice and the best services, personalized services to the families I work with. What I love most about my work is to be able to have a positive impact into my community with the families I work with. It's all the possibilities that I have in front of me to help them and translate complex financial situations and help them navigate all the world of investments and planning and banking, to make sure that they have the time and ability to focus on what they do for their life. It's intellectually challenging, but it keeps me busy, and the impact, the positive impact that I have on the lives of the people that I work with is what matters most to me.
