Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I credit my success to a balance of analytical precision, empathy, and curiosity. My ability to understand both data and people helps me build trust, find solutions, and lead with both insight and heart. I’m driven by a commitment to continuous learning and a desire to understand how things work—and how they can work better—building a career rooted in adaptability, innovation, and growth.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My uncle, Harlon Mcmillian, once told me to read “Influence” by Robert Cialdini. It was an absolutely fantastic read and taught me that success isn’t just about being smart or strategic—it’s about understanding what drives people and using that insight to connect, lead, and inspire.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this industry that building up and helping advance the bright, talented people around you is one of the most powerful ways to create impact. When you invest in others’ growth, you multiply your own success and help shape a stronger, more collaborative future for everyone. Stay curious, be adaptable, and know your worth—because confidence, continuous learning, and compassion together create lasting influence.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges right now is how fast social commerce is reshaping the shopper journey—and how hard it is to get full visibility across it. Platforms like TikTok and Instagram can drive huge demand, but that doesn’t always show up clearly in brick-and-mortar data. Everyone’s shopping everywhere, and the data lives in different systems. For me, the challenge is pulling it all together—connecting retail, e-commerce, and social insights—so we can truly see the total omnichannel picture and make smarter, more connected decisions.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me both personally and professionally are being trustworthy, reliable, kind, and committed to quality. I believe trust is the foundation of every good relationship, reliability builds confidence, kindness creates connection, and a focus on quality ensures that whatever I deliver reflects pride and integrity in my work.
