Her Story

About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Sanders is rebranding her professional focus from financial services toward education through coaching and consulting. She operates Kingdom Wealth Coaching and Consulting in conjunction with her nonprofit, where the emphasis is on in-depth teaching to empower clients rather than solely offering direct services such as credit repair. Sanders plans to hire young women completing programs through the nonprofit to work in the business, extending her commitment to guiding others in a teaching capacity even outside traditional public school environments.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Elizabeth

01What do you attribute your success to?

I wasn't always successful but revamping not only my business but my life was the key I waa missing..I didn't start off including God in everything. After years of wondering why things were going the way it was, I changed my perspective. I then started including God in everything..Also, understanding that it's not about me..God put me here on this Earth for a reason, finding my purpose and aligning it to God's plan was a game changer.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received is to keep God first and to make sure He's included in the decision making..

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

For the young ladies planning to enter into education today, I'd let them know that the industry has definitely changed and to be prepared for anything. There are reports of teachers leaving, but I would not want that to discourage someone passionate about teaching kids. I advise them to give it a try and not go off what everyone is saying, because if they are passionate, they may be called to do it. Being a teacher is different from just looking to get a job.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in education right now is not getting the right help..Being a teacher you need the parents, stakeholders, community, leadership, and the students to be in alignment..Unfortunately that doesn't happen..That's the main reason teachers are leaving.. But, building healthy relationships with your students will make the job much easier..Those students you build healthy relationships with will go over and beyond with you and for you..That's the biggest and the best payoff..They will truly become your babies..

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important in both my life and my work is being honest, integral and morally sound.
