About Elizabeth

I've been a Director of HR Compliance since September 2022. I took the leap from being an attorney into HR because while I enjoyed law school, the demands of the industry weren't conducive to what I wanted in life, especially wanting a family. When I landed in HR, it was way better - I was excited to go to work every day and love the people aspect. My background as a lawyer helps with risk mitigation, such as achieving 100% I-9 compliance amid executive orders on immigration, managing remote work risks across countries like Spain, and ensuring policies comply with laws in 26 states. A notable achievement was building a multi-state compliance process from the ground up after COVID, registering for payroll, unemployment, and workers' compensation so employees can move states safely.
