Outlaw Light Beer
Chicago, IL 60614

Ellen Tedford is a dynamic sales and marketing professional in the craft beer and beverage industry, currently serving as the Regional Chain Director for Tivoli Brewing Company’s Outlaw Light Beer. Based in Chicago, she manages national accounts across the Midwest, overseeing marketing, distribution, and pricing strategies that help smaller brands stand out in a competitive market. Ellen began her journey in the beer industry at age 24 as a bartender, where she discovered her passion for branding, relationship building, and the fast-paced energy of the beverage world. Her work has since helped secure major partnerships, including a landmark deal with Kroger, while supporting the rapid growth of Outlaw Beer across multiple states.

In addition to her career accomplishments, Ellen completed her MBA at Washington State University during the pandemic—balancing full-time work and graduate studies with remarkable discipline. Her MBA journey inspired her entrepreneurial ambitions, leading her to develop a business plan for a Pacific Northwest–based powdered electrolyte company focused on simplicity and affordability. She continues to refine this concept with support from her father, an experienced angel investor, and plans to launch the product in the coming years.

Beyond her professional life, Ellen is passionate about community engagement and mentorship. She is an active member of the Pink Boots Society, which supports women in the alcohol industry, and volunteers with organizations such as Camp Ten Trees and Dignity for Divas, helping LGBTQ+ and homeless women. With a strong background in hospitality, leadership, and strategic growth, Ellen continues to make a lasting impact—both within her industry and the communities she serves.
