About Elli
Healthcare has always been more than a career for me. It's something I genuinely care about. My time working in a safety net hospital gave me the opportunity to see how much of a difference access to quality care can make, especially for patients who are often overlooked. It sparked a passion for improving healthcare in ways that help both patients and providers, and that passion continues to drive me today.
One of the most meaningful experiences I've had has been volunteering at the Salt Wagon Clinic, a free clinic that serves uninsured patients in our community. It has reminded me that everyone deserves quality healthcare, regardless of their financial situation or background. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach my work and continue to motivate me to help remove barriers to care and support solutions that improve the patient experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that's hiking, camping, or being on the water. Having been fortunate enough to live abroad for many years, I still enjoy traveling and exploring new communities and cultures . I also enjoy staying involved in my community and giving back whenever I can in my home of Nashville Tennessee. Those experiences have shaped how I connect with people, and they continue to remind me why I care so deeply about making a positive impact through the work I do.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the mentors who have invested in me, a willingness to work hard, and intentionally surrounding myself with people I admire and learn from. I'm incredibly grateful for the guidance I've received throughout my career, and it's inspired me to do the same for others. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping people grow, and I hope that's something I continue to do throughout my career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is to learn something from every opportunity. Whether an experience goes exactly as planned or not, there's always a lesson to take away from it. I've found that looking for the positive, even in challenging situations, helps you grow and prepares you for whatever comes next.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to ask questions or step outside of your comfort zone. Some of the biggest opportunities in my career came from saying yes to things I hadn't done before and being willing to learn along the way. Find mentors who challenge and support you, stay curious, and remember that your career doesn't have to follow a straight path. Every experience teaches you something, and those experiences often become your greatest strengths.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are integrity, compassion, and a commitment to continuous growth. I believe in treating people with kindness and respect, building genuine relationships, and always looking for ways to learn and improve. Whether it's in my career or personal life, I want to leave people and places better than I found them. I try to lead by serving others, staying curious, and remembering that even small actions can make a meaningful difference.
