Elvira Camarillo

Elvira Camarillo is a dedicated baker and culinary professional with six years of experience in the food and pastry industry. Her baking journey began in 2020 at a nonprofit organization in Wardensville, West Virginia, where she discovered her passion for baking from scratch. She developed her skills in breads, pastries, food preparation, and production while also working as a line cook. Inspired from a young age by cake decorating and shows such as Cake Boss, Elvira has continued to build her expertise while pursuing her dream of becoming a bakery owner.

Elvira currently serves as Head Baker at Lost River Trading Post, where she is responsible for keeping the bakery fully stocked and maintaining the quality and consistency of its offerings. Alongside her professional work, she is preparing to launch her own business, Elle’s Bakery. The bakery will specialize in cakes for birthdays, baby showers, and other celebrations, with a focus on wholesome, high-quality ingredients and products made without artificial dyes. She also plans to offer vegan and dairy-free options while eventually expanding into wedding cakes.

Elvira’s path toward entrepreneurship has been shaped by determination, creativity, and a willingness to pursue her goals despite challenges and self-doubt. She has revised her business plan multiple times and continued moving forward because owning a bakery has been a lifelong dream. She credits her mother, best friend Laura, mentors, and former colleagues for encouraging her to keep going. Through Elle’s Bakery, Elvira hopes to transform her passion for baking into a welcoming business that brings people joy while reflecting her commitment to quality, thoughtful ingredients, and creativity.
