Her Interview
Ten minutes with Elyce
01What do you attribute your success to?
I have had a unique opportunity to work in many different industries, giving me an advantage over others who get pigeon-holed into a one industry career. As an executive consultant/advisor, I have assisted business owners to increase their bottom line by seeing the little changes that can be made in systems and people that can change a business into a dynamic force for good. I'm all about relationship building and integrity, and it starts at the top. If I'm not operating in my highest, then my consulting isn't valid.
I have assisted business owners to go from small and medium to billionaire status. It's all in the mindset of the CEO. Yet, it all starts with me!
Once we find models that work within a business, it's all about perseverance.... and that's my middle name!
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
NEVER EVER GIVE UP.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you have a dream, keep at it. It will change form many times. It doesn't mean you aren't meant to do it. It means you should keep experimenting to find just the right combination. Become a safecracker and learn the secret password to your own success. After all, it IS ALL ABOUT YOU AS THE CREATOR. Keep your head out of the clouds and ground all your ideas in practicality, while you focus on where you want to be. Being a dreamer isn't about magic or luck. It means you are passionate about your goals and are willing for life to show you how to make it a reality.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My biggest challenge right now is funding. I am working on some new strategies that may get me where I need to be. stay tuned!
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and Authenticity. I walk my talk. I let my still small voice guide the way.
