Elyse Hicks, Esq., MBA, is a seasoned Financial Services Regulatory and Legislative Strategist, currently serving as Senior Manager of Public Policy for the East Coast and Major Markets at DailyPay. With a robust background in law, policy, and government relations, Elyse guides organizations through complex regulatory landscapes while advocating for legislation that drives equitable financial solutions. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between policy, business, and consumer impact, ensuring initiatives benefit both companies and the communities they serve.

Before joining DailyPay, Elyse honed her expertise in consumer and financial advocacy through roles including Consumer Policy Counsel at Americans for Financial Reform and Staff Attorney at United Policyholders. She also served as an attorney with Bloomberg, leveraging her legal acumen to support high-impact financial reporting and policy initiatives. Across these positions, Elyse has consistently combined her understanding of law with strategic insight to influence policy outcomes and deliver practical, results-oriented solutions.

Outside of her professional life, Elyse enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, and caring for her two dogs. She is also passionate about home renovations, bringing creativity and attention to detail to her personal projects. Elyse holds a Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and an MBA from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics, and she continues to apply her expertise to advance financial inclusion and effective policy frameworks.
