About Emer

Emer Macandog has worked in supply chain operations and analytics since 2016. She began her career in a blue-collar role as a warehouse associate. Through curiosity-driven cross-training across departments and consistent learning, she earned promotions nearly every year and gained deep knowledge of how supply chains function while working with multiple companies. In her current role she supports five facilities located in Orlando, Dallas, Houston, Savannah, and Atlanta. She works primarily remotely but travels when physical presence is required, ensuring alignment on compliance, continuous improvement, and analytics that deliver strong customer experiences. Her core areas of expertise are project management, data analytics, and operations. She has led transitions between warehouse management systems, confirming system alignment with business needs, maintaining compliance, and supporting employees through cultural and environmental changes. Emer holds an MBA that she completed in 2023. She is a member of Delta Mu Delta, the international honor society in business, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She takes pride in mentoring colleagues on the technical aspects of the work and guiding them toward technology-enabled growth. Emer advises young women entering the traditionally male-dominated supply chain field to maintain the right mindset, avoid underestimating themselves, take up space confidently, stay willing to learn, and contribute with assurance. She sees major opportunities in the ongoing technology-driven transformation of supply chain distribution through data, automation, AI, and analytics, which help organizations boost productivity, control costs, and increase visibility.
