About Emilee
Emilee Jalosuo is a professional women's rugby player and organizes youth hockey tournaments in Minnesota. She entered the field in 2019 after purchasing a AAA hockey business with her partner and launching the Minnesota Cup, the largest youth hockey tournament in the state, which they later sold while continuing to run the events. Emilee attended Winona State University, majoring in sociology and minoring in women's and gender studies. She holds a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification, which supports her training and coaching work. Her achievements include the Jane Tierney Leadership Award from Metropolis Women's for her volunteer efforts in team management and social media, as well as winning nationals in 2013 with Winona State and receiving the Most Dedicated Award. Emilee also develops social media content to promote her rugby team and the sport.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Give yourself grace. No one's perfect and mistakes will happen. Do not take people in your circle for granted. Treat people well as a leader to maintain strong connections and make everyone happier and more fulfilled.
