About Emily
Emily Bley, BSN, RN, is a Territory Manager at ZOLL Cardiac Management Solutions who combines a strong clinical foundation with a passion for advancing cardiac care through innovative medical technology. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Fort Wayne, she spent five years as a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular intensive care, trauma, and post-anesthesia recovery. Her experience caring for critically ill patients—including serving on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic in both Indiana and Florida—provided her with firsthand insight into the challenges patients and healthcare providers face in life-saving situations.
Recognizing an opportunity to continue making a meaningful impact while achieving a healthier work-life balance, Emily transitioned from bedside nursing into medical device sales. As a Territory Manager with ZOLL Cardiac Management Solutions, she partners with physicians, hospitals, and healthcare teams to improve access to the LifeVest wearable defibrillator, helping protect patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest. Her clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and collaborative approach allow her to build trusted relationships with providers while supporting better patient outcomes. She is known for her ability to educate healthcare professionals, identify practical solutions, and bridge the gap between clinical care and innovative medical technology.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Emily is committed to giving back through volunteer fundraising efforts for organizations including Autism Speaks and The Brave Like Gabe Foundation, where she supports rare cancer research. She also actively promotes continuing education within the cardiology community and advocates for advancements in cardiovascular care. Passionate about improving lives both inside and outside the hospital, Emily remains dedicated to supporting healthcare providers, empowering patients, and contributing to innovations that help save lives.

Ten minutes with Emily
01What do you attribute your success to?
I'm extremely self-motivated and a go-getter. I want to do the absolute best that I can, not just for myself to reach my numbers, but for my patients that deserve to be offered my device and potentially have their life saved. I keep my eyes set on that purpose and stay passionate about what I'm selling.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My sister is in pharmaceutical sales and opened my eyes to the industry. She has no medical background, but I was able to bridge patient advocacy and healthcare knowledge with sales.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's so scary making a career change. If you're feeling stuck or not reaching your full potential, make the jump, make the change. Ask people around, look on LinkedIn, reach out, do your research, and be brave and bold enough to make that transition. In the end, it's gonna pay off and you'll be happier.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Beyond my career, I enjoy giving back whenever I can. Through my work, I help sponsor educational opportunities for nurse practitioners, fellows, and residents. I'm also passionate about running and have used marathon fundraising efforts to support organizations such as Autism Speaks and Brave Like Gabe, combining personal growth and serving others.
