Emily Cox

Emily M. Cox is a Durham-based psychotherapist, founder, and community leader with decades of experience in counseling, coaching, and consulting. She currently works in private practice as a psychotherapist and serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Sister Scene, an organization that fosters multicultural connection and community partnerships across business, the arts, sports, and public life. She previously worked for 10 years as a self-employed psychotherapist. Emily holds a Master of Social Work in Clinical and Community Practice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Communication and Media Studies and French from Loyola University New Orleans.
