Emily Dunn

I specialize in events within the nonprofit, Web3, and corporate space, where I've been working for about 8 years. My day-to-day work includes reaching out to venues and sourcing them, creating proposals for companies on what an event could look like and what services we can offer through activations and event production. I do business development, getting the right people within the room to have the right conversations, and I talk to people about what they want in an event, how they want to host it, and what their goals are to get out of the event. Operationally, I run all of our day-to-day operations and end-to-end in-team operations, putting in new systems and creating new opportunities for other people within the company. I've been with MomentumX Global for 8 months. A typical day for me looks like going to venues, sourcing them, looking at them, meeting with the managers, hopping on meetings with potential clients as well as current clients to make sure that all their needs are being met, and then in the evening, attending events to grow my network, connect with new people, and learn how events can bring more return on investment to the people of the Web3 world. Right now I'm starting to develop a women's collective called the Xara Collective (X-A-R-A) that is helping young women within the post-grad space get introduced to Web3 and partnered with a mentor to be able to grow their network and learn how to network. I really hope that in the next 5 years, I'll be able to scale that significantly and get more outreach to the women who need it, helping them find opportunities within the Web3 space and giving them support to allow them to thrive and flourish.
