About Emily
Emily Emmett is a Product Development Manager at MYSTERY RANCH with a strong background spanning product development, manufacturing, production management, quality control, and engineering. Her career with MYSTERY RANCH began in 2017 as a Post Production Associate, where she inspected backpacks and components, performed repairs, maintained quality standards, and provided feedback to design and production teams. She subsequently advanced through Team Lead, Production Supervisor, Assistant Production Manager, and Production Manager roles before moving into her current position as Product Development Manager.
Emily brings a distinctive combination of liberal arts and engineering education to her work. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative History of Ideas with a minor in History from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman. Her technical and professional credentials include Engineer in Training certification through NCEES and Master Scheduling training through Oliver Wight Americas. Her experience includes vendor collaboration, development timeline management, process improvement, quality control, team leadership, and technical problem-solving.
Known for her grounded, empathetic, and methodical approach, Emily is committed to tackling challenges while supporting the people around her. She combines human-centered thinking with technical problem-solving and believes that meaningful progress comes through listening, continuous learning, collaboration, and fully embracing opportunities for growth. Outside of her professional career, she values spending time outdoors with her family, including hunting, camping, and enjoying nature.
