Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my upbringing and the mentors who guided me along the way. My mom has always been my first mentor—running her own business, she taught me to work hard, follow my dreams, and never expect anything without earning it. My second mentor, Eddie Valadeo, guided me during my internship and showed me the ins and outs of the business. Growing up in agriculture, with my father farming over 1,800 acres, also gave me a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of the industry from a young age.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to keep my head down, work hard, and trust that the results will follow.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering the industry to work hard and always follow through on everything they commit to. Integrity and consistency go a long way in building trust and credibility.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in my career was leaving my established network in Arizona and starting over in New Mexico. It pushed me to build new relationships, adapt quickly, and prove myself all over again—but it also created opportunities to grow professionally and expand my perspective in the agricultural industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values I hold most important are honesty and dedication, both in my professional and personal life. I believe in maintaining balance between work, home, and self-care, as staying grounded allows me to give my best in every area.
