Emily’s approach centers on building authentic, trusting relationships, understanding each client’s unique goals, and creating actionable plans that empower them to make informed decisions about their financial future. One of her notable achievements has been successfully making a mid-life career change into financial advising, combining her passion for helping people with her extensive leadership experience.

She is certified as an Insurance Broker for Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance and holds FINRA licenses Series 6 and Series 63, as well as completion of the Securities Industry Essentials exam. Her prior career experience at Boeing honed her project management, strategic planning, and leadership skills, which she now applies to guiding clients through complex financial decisions. What inspired her to enter financial advising was a desire to help people in meaningful ways, shaped both by her upbringing and her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Beyond her professional life, Emily is actively involved in charitable work and volunteers with Light House for Domestic Abuse. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, socializing with friends, and pursuing her creative interests, including crafting and jewelry making. Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my resilience and dedication, as I consistently commit myself fully to my work. I am driven and hardworking, and I am fortunate to have a supportive husband who has stood by my side throughout my career, encouraging and supporting me in every aspect of my professional journey.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be resilient, as you will inevitably hear “no” from time to time. Learn to let it roll off your shoulders it’s not about you; often, others just aren’t ready. Above all, stay authentic and true to yourself in every interaction and decision.
