Her Interview
Ten minutes with Emily
01What do you attribute your success to?
God first of all. I just never gave up on what I believed in and what I could do. I had plenty of opportunities to just say I'm gonna go do something else but it felt like it was too important. I truly look at where I sit today and think the only way I'm here is because God said you're here.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Always pull up your chair to the table. Never clean up after the event. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. And take the cigar if they're passing them out.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI has really started to creep in and makes everybody a little jumpy. Clients are going on to AI and asking AI for recommendations. If you don't build a good trusting relationship with your clients, they're gonna believe AI over you. Building that client relationship is really valuable now more than ever.
