In her current role, Emily focuses on physician sourcing, talent mapping, and relationship building to help CHOP attract outstanding pediatric physicians and support its mission of advancing children’s healthcare.

Throughout her career, Emily has developed extensive expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment strategy through roles with organizations including Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and Holy Redeemer Health System. She has led sourcing efforts across various healthcare disciplines, including nursing, laboratory, respiratory, and physician recruitment, while managing recruitment processes and building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals. I attribute my success to maintaining a growth mindset and continuously seeking opportunities to learn and improve. I believe that personal and professional growth comes from staying open to change, embracing new challenges, and never becoming stagnant. Consistently striving to develop myself has been a key factor in my success.

My advice to young women entering my industry is to stay persistent and never give up, especially during the early stages when things may feel challenging. Start by building a strong foundation, ask questions, and remain open to learning from others—even as you gain more experience. Embrace new ideas, adapt to change, and commit to being a lifelong learner, because growth and success come from continuously evolving.
