About Emily
Emily Piazza is a Territory Manager at Techtronic Industries (TTI), where she has built a career in sales, leadership, and team development within the power tool industry. She joined TTI in 2024 as a Field Sales and Marketing Representative before advancing to Territory Manager in 2025. In her current role, Emily manages a broad territory across much of New York State, representing well-known brands such as Milwaukee, RYOBI, and RIDGID. Her work involves driving sales, building customer relationships, supporting her team, and ensuring consistent execution across her territory. Before entering the power tool industry, Emily developed more than five years of management experience in the spa and wellness sector. She began her career at Massage Envy as a Wellness Consultant and quickly progressed through customer service and operations roles before becoming a General Manager. She later served as a Resort Spa Manager/Assistant Director at Mirbeau Inn & Spa and as a Spa Assistant Director at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa. These experiences strengthened her skills in leadership, operations, customer service, and team development, including overseeing large teams and managing complex day-to-day operations. Emily’s career reflects her willingness to embrace change, continuously learn, and pursue opportunities for growth. Although she initially pursued an associate degree in nursing at Corning Community College, she ultimately discovered her strengths in leadership and management through the spa industry before successfully transitioning into sales and the power tool sector. She is passionate about developing people, fostering a positive team culture, and achieving results through collaboration, accountability, and consistent execution. Emily credits her drive for personal and professional growth to her father, along with the support of her husband, as important influences on her journey, while embracing a positive, one-team mentality in both her professional and personal life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my desire for continuous growth and learning. I have always wanted more for myself and have been driven by curiosity and the desire to expand my knowledge. I genuinely enjoy learning and challenging myself, and I never want to stop growing, both professionally and personally.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is to keep moving forward, even when I doubt myself. My father taught me the value of dedication and sacrifice, while my husband encouraged me to take risks and reminded me that everyone has to start somewhere. Their support taught me that confidence often comes from taking the leap and growing along the way.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to always leave the door open to new possibilities. You may be unsure or even nervous about an opportunity, but that is part of the journey. Stay open to learning, take chances, challenge yourself, and enjoy the process of growing both personally and professionally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field has been building my career without following a traditional path. I’ve had to step outside my comfort zone, learn new skills, and enter an industry where women are still underrepresented. At the same time, these challenges have created opportunities for growth, allowing me to embrace being a beginner, take risks, and discover new possibilities for my career.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are teamwork, positivity, and having a one-team mentality. I believe that when we support one another, stay positive, and work toward a common goal, we can accomplish much more together.
