Emily Swogger

Emily Swogger owns and operates Echo Therapy LLC, a pediatric outpatient therapy company in the Las Vegas area of Southern Nevada, where she serves as owner and speech therapist. With approximately 10 years in the field of outpatient pediatric therapy, she founded her company five years ago after working for another organization whose practices did not align with her values. Swogger leads the staff while continuing to provide direct speech therapy services, and her company offers speech, occupational, and physical therapy to children of all ages, including medically fragile patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, and G-tubes, helping them participate more fully in daily life. She earned both her undergraduate and master's degrees from Clarion University, completing her master's in December 2016 after finishing her undergraduate studies in three years. In addition, Swogger is Vital STEM trained and has received Mayo feeding training. Outside her clinical work, she has been involved for about two years with Ambooks, a nonprofit that builds adaptive bikes for children with special needs. Swogger attributes her success to perseverance and a desire to build a better system, including offering longer therapy sessions than she observed elsewhere.
