About Emily
Emily Williams serves as CEO of Been Around The World Travels, which she founded after her passion for world travel led others to request her planning services. She began officially in 2018, building the business from a hobby into a seven-figure operation by 2023. As an expert in Africa travel, European travel, Asia travel, and group travel, Emily handles supplier accreditation, billing, client itineraries, and destination research to craft custom experiences based on client preferences. She has visited 60 countries to gain firsthand cultural knowledge. Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in emergency management, complemented by numerous certifications in the travel industry. Emily also continues to work as a paralegal while running her travel company.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Coaching and mentorship have been key to my success. Finding the right mentors and joining organizations helped me learn how to run a business beyond just the travel side. Being in a coaching program and mastermind allowed me to understand what I didn't know and take the business to the next level.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is that your mind will either hold you back or set you free. It's all in the mindset of what you want.
