Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my ability to merge my passion for teaching with my drive for sales. I began my career in special education and juvenile corrections, where I learned how to connect with people, tailor communication to their needs, and inspire confidence. Those same skills now fuel my work as a National Sales Trainer with Window Nation—where I help new sales representatives gain the knowledge and confidence to succeed. My teaching background allows me to make complex ideas simple and empower others to believe in themselves. If I can help even one person achieve real success each year, I feel like I’ve done my job.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is, “Don’t wait to feel ready—start before you’re comfortable.” That mindset completely changed how I approach opportunities. Growth doesn’t happen in the waiting—it happens when you take the leap, learn through the process, and trust that you’ll figure it out along the way.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to own your transferable skills and never underestimate the power of empathy. Whatever your background—teaching, healthcare, or customer service—your experiences are valuable. You’re not starting over; you’re building on what you already know. And remember, curiosity is your greatest strength—never be afraid to ask questions and keep learning.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is navigating client ghosting, economic pressures, and financing declines—but within those challenges lies the greatest opportunity: reconnecting with purpose. Sales allows me to blend education, empathy, and connection in a way that’s both deeply fulfilling and impactful.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Hard work, empathy, and a growth mindset are at the core of everything I do. While my education gave me a foundation, the most valuable lessons came from real-world experience—working with people, learning from mistakes, and staying adaptable. I believe in leading with compassion, staying ambitious, and giving back whenever I can, whether through mentoring or staying active in my community.
