About Emma

There really is no typical day in the medical device world. It's an adaptive field where you have to react to what's being thrown at you. My day can look like anything from being in cases to train doctors to bringing lunches to lab staff and offices for in-services on our product and the benefits that it gives to patients. It can also look like doing field rides with clinical specialists that I'm training and making sure that they have everything that they need to be successful in the field. And then of course there is always admin work. One of the greatest highlights of my career so far has been the opportunity that I've had to give back to people in the position that I was in, where they're new coming into the med device industry, and are sort of deer in the headlights. It's been a really rewarding opportunity to be able to train them, to welcome them with open arms and soften the blow for them, because it's a fast-paced world that they're stepping into. I've really appreciated the leadership opportunities I’ve had in this field.
