About Emma
Emma Easterlin serves as Brand Marketing Manager at Duetti, a music tech startup that acquires rights to music catalogs and supports artists through marketing on platforms like TikTok and Spotify, as well as billboards and events. In this role, she oversees brand campaigns, communications, PR, and B2B outreach to managers and lawyers regarding catalog sales. Prior to joining Duetti four months ago, she spent three and a half years at Klarna in partner marketing, managing campaigns with major retail clients, and later in B2B marketing focused on conferences and merchant acquisition strategies. Her earlier experience includes promotional marketing at Mattel for American Girl dolls, where she handled sales promotions and marketing plans across channels, and a brief stint in digital marketing at Levi Strauss and Co., supporting the launch of their Red Tab loyalty program. Through her graduate studies, she completed a brand strategy internship with Nike's Jordan Brand. Emma Easterlin earned a master's degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University, receiving the Walter Dill Scott Award for top academic performance, and holds an undergraduate degree in psychology with a marketing minor from USB. She also received the Women in Marketing One to Watch Award during a period of unemployment following layoffs.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have your whole entire career to do it. What's meant to find you is going to find you. You just have to try the best that you can at what you're doing, and do things you're kind of interested in. Your job doesn't have to be your whole life. Just do things you're kind of interested in, and then from there, what's supposed to happen will find you.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I'm very honest. Communication skills and who I am have benefited my work environment and relationship building. I always get things done. I'm very resilient. I like to have fun. I'm outspoken about my ideas and how I'm being treated.
