About Emma
Emma Marta is currently a student at Gettysburg College, where she is majoring in Health Sciences and plans to graduate in 2029. She works with children, having started babysitting at a young age, and is employed at Noble's Day Camp in Massachusetts, where she assists with daily activities and serves as a counselor figure for campers. In addition, Emma works as a hostess at Captain Martin's Seafood and previously held a seasonal position at a daycare. An accomplished athlete, she earned the Athlete of the Year award from her high school in 2025 and currently competes in track at the college level, having also participated in field hockey, gymnastics, and track during high school. She is involved in Greek life at Gettysburg College. Emma values communication and loyalty in both her professional and personal relationships, and she credits trusting her gut as the best advice she has received.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Honestly, probably to trust your gut. Because I feel like I've been in so many situations, where I feel like I don't know, I felt like my path is like not be going anywhere, but I feel like you really just have to trust yourself, and trust that you know yourself best.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Probably the values of communication and loyalty. And I really emphasize loyalty, just because I feel like someone being loyal to you, whether it's a co-worker, relationship, whatever, coach. I feel like that can really go a long way, and so securing that trust with someone is super beneficial to, you know, create relationships and connections.
